I have created an art journal page using the following products (plus some basics such as ink , gesso and
Texture Plate Flowers
Texture Plate Flowers
First using my gell plate I brayered on some Dina Wakely paint then pressed the texture plate (flowers) onto the wet paint.
I then transferred it onto my journal page.
I repeated this a few times with a few different colors until I built up the color in the background
Next i scraped some white gesso down the left side of the page so that I could build a focus area for the stamps and layers and then dried it fully.
Then I used some gellprint scraps and stamping onto the area i placed the with gesso.
I use pinks and navy inks.
Next I stamped the girl plus a few extras of the city on her head.
Using the Art by Marlene Water colours I painted them all in dried them and fussy cut them out.
After they were cut I attached them to the left hand side of the page and tucked some scraps and odds and ends behind the girl and a cityscape on her left
Thanks for stopping by, Until next time!
